With an impressive career spanning almost a decade in Europe, Australian-born international make-up artist Peita Gregory has returned to Sydney, bringing her enviable wealth of experience and outstanding talent back home. Beginning her career in London at the Jemma Kidd Make-up School (one of only ten students to be accepted), Peita’s start in the industry was stellar, and she has been applying her signature flawless finish and skills to such fashion luminaries as Agyness Deyn, Yasmin Le Bon, Lily Cole and Alexa Chung, to name a few, ever since.

After graduation, Peita was offered the prestigious position as first assistant to leading make-up artist Hannah Murray, as well as assisting the likes of Sam Bryant, Alex Box and Diane Kendal. This found her working at the international prêt-a-porter shows including Chloé, Balenciaga, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. Peita also assisted Hannah in studio and on far-flung locations, with legendary photographers such as David Sims, Mario Testino and Willy Vanderperre behind the lens, alongside famed hair stylists such as Guido Palau, and top-of-their-field stylists Brana Wolf and Katie Grand.

Peita’s drive, talent and passion saw her quickly progress to become a successful make-up artist in her own right, represented by one of London’s top agencies and in constant demand for great editorial (Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Nylon…) and advertising campaigns (H&M, Levi’s, Harrods, Pringle of Scotland…). She has been responsible for making up a roster of the world’s most recognised and celebrated faces, her call sheet to-date reading like a who’s who of modern-day icons. From Elizabeth Hurley to Elle Macpherson, Pixie Geldof to Gemma Ward, Peita applied her impeccable beauty skills to ensure they always looked face-first fabulous.

Via London and shoots in exotic locales such as Marrakesh, Paris, Moscow, Iceland and Los Angeles, Peita is thrilled to be back in Sydney with family and friends. Her skills are as in demand as ever, working on leading local campaigns such as Witchery and General Pants, top fashion magazine editorials and having her phone number on many local celebrities’ speed dial. And now she is truly excited to bring her passion for make-up and beauty to the public, to share her invaluable insider tips and tricks and have women looking their most beautiful; a service that hasn’t been seen in Australia with a make-up artist of her calibre, until now.
